Interview with Bernard Poulin

In this interview, John sits down and speaks with Bernard Poulin about art and colored pencil. They discuss a variety of topics, such as what art is, and the future of realistic portrait art especially in the medium of colored pencil today. The two discuss Bernard's roots and events that have influenced his journey. 

Bernard has been drawing and painting portraits for several decades and is one of the most renowned artists of our time. 

As a youth he talks of being kicked out of art class, abandoning the home he grew up in, and eventually traveling to Italy to study the masters.

Bernard is an internationally recognized artist with commissions ranging from top political officials to corporate and private collections. His subjects range from families and children's portraits to work that interests and inspires him.
