This week John is talking with Kathryn Hansen, an accomplished animal and nature artist from Southern California. She received a degree in studio arts but became a colored pencil enthusiast around 2014.
Kathryn has won many awards, she’s exhibited in solo shows, and has been featured in many publications including Strokes of Genius 9.
In this interview she talks about pricing her artwork, taking commissions, and the value of putting in 30 hours a week into drawing.
