Cecile is truly one of the pioneers in colored pencil art.  Her resume is replete with many awards spanning over several years.  Her book, Painting Light With Colored Pencil, is one of the best on fundamental colored pencil techniques for both the beginner and advanced artist.  

 

In addition to her unique perspective on lighting still life she also discusses the need for the artist's to improve in their photo taking skills.   

Her love and enthusiasm for colored pencil is both inspiring and contagious.
